Cupcake Cottage is NOT an allergy-free kitchen. Due to the nature of my business and flavour combinations available I cannot guarantee that my products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies. At Cupcake Cottage Cakes I recognise the seriousness of food allergies and therefore I may reserve the right to decline any orders for clients with serious food allergies. Cupcake Cottage will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to my cakes or treats.
The following ingredients are used in my kitchen: Milk and other dairy products, Eggs, Nuts: peanuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, coconut, Wheat and gluten and sometimes alcohol.
Please note my fruit cakes contain ground almonds, as does the marzipan.
Nut allergies – I can make “nut free” cakes, although I cannot guarantee that the products in the ingredients come from a nut free environment. (i.e. – flour, sugar, etc.)
The only cake that will contain a marzipan coating under the icing is a fruit cake and spheres, unless it is specifically requested on other cakes.
Cupcake Cottage can bake cakes with gluten free flour upon request but will not guarantee such cakes as 100% “gluten free” due to the kitchen not being allergy free and as such these cakes are purchased at your own risk and Cupcake Cottage will not assume any liability for any adverse reactions to these cakes.
Regretfully Cupcake cottage is unable to provide vegan cakes or treats.
